In 2017, Huang Zhou-jian met Taiwanese dancer Chou Shu-yi in a bookstore in Dali City, and had the idea of shooting a dance video in the bookstore. Later, Wang Yu-jun made music and jointly created a work. In 2019, with new thoughts on dance and books, the Soul of the Booksorted edited with unused materials.
