{"id":2447,"date":"2025-10-10T18:05:42","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T18:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jumpingframes.com\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=3641"},"modified":"2025-11-17T10:34:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T10:34:34","slug":"the-trio-hall","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/jumpingframes.com\/en\/film\/the-trio-hall\/","title":{"rendered":"The Trio Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>2025 \/ 85&#8242; \/<\/strong> Putonghua \/ Chinese &amp; English Subtitles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Trio Hall <\/em>is a satirical spectacle, drawing us into the orbit of two visual cultures at the ultimate crossroads of entertainment, escapism and ideology: the romances of the \u2018Three Hall\u2019 cinema of the 60s and 70s (made famous by Chiung Yao &amp; Co) and the TV and variety shows of the 80s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Originally conceived as a \u201ccinematic exhibition\u201d or \u201cexhibition cinema\u201d project at the Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei in 2023, the first Taiwanese feature film to be exhibited, filmed, and produced in a museum setting.
