BODY-BUILDINGS brings together dance , architecture and cinema, merging identities andconcepts. Six choreographies created for six works of architecture – by João Luīs Carrilho da Graça; Álvaro Siza Vieira; Eduardo Souto de Moura; João Mendes Ribeiro e Menos é Mais Arquitectos; Paulo David; Aires Mateus – in six locations in Portugal – Covilhã; Leça da Palmeira; Braga; Azores; Madeira; Grândola. Each segment is a feast for the senses, presented by a different word that encapsulates a theme: VOID, DAWN, BEAST, TAME, DUSK, and MEMORY.
